The Research Methods & Practice Fellowship is a structured, intensive three-month learning programme designed by the IMK Research & Consulting Foundation to build the capacities of aspiring researchers and development practitioners.

Grounded in a robust “learning by doing” philosophy, the Fellowship combines critical conceptual understanding with extensive hands-on research practice, guiding participants through every single stage of the research process — from initial ideation to final scientific reporting.

Area of Interest: Interests span psychology, human behavior, digital well-being, law, and politics.

Research question I Care about: I am particularly drawn to understanding how excessive screen use affects the quality of human connection among young people today.

Why I joined this fellowship: “I joined this fellowship because I genuinely want to grow — to learn from people who know more than me and bring that learning back into my work and community.”

One research question I care about: What factors influence rural women’s preference for private hospitals for antenatal care in Kashmir?

Why I joined this fellowship: I am passionate about learning, research, and academic development. I am eager to gain new experiences and enhance my skills. I believe this fellowship will help me grow both personally and professionally in the future.
