Why I Joined this Fellowship: “I want to understand how the unavailability and inaccessibility of maternity hospital services affect well-being of women.”

Academic Background: Second-year B.A. Psychology student at Government Degree College for Women, Anantnag, under the University of Kashmir.

Area of Interest: Interests span psychology, human behavior, digital well-being, law, and politics.

Research question I Care about: I am particularly drawn to understanding how excessive screen use affects the quality of human connection among young people today.

Why I joined this fellowship: “I joined this fellowship because I genuinely want to grow — to learn from people who know more than me and bring that learning back into my work and community.”

Academic background: Masters in History from Cluster University Srinagar.

Area of Interest: Maternal Healthcare, Rural Health, and Social Research.

One research question I care about: What factors influence rural women’s preference for private hospitals for antenatal care in Kashmir?

Why I joined this fellowship: I am passionate about learning, research, and academic development. I am eager to gain new experiences and enhance my skills. I believe this fellowship will help me grow both personally and professionally in the future.

Academic Background: Currently pursuing MA in Sociology at South Asian University

Area of interest: focused on Healthy eating awareness, Good food choices.
